MARGARITTA'S
Have you ever given a Margaritta much thought.
Ah yes a frozen slushy as we had known it when we were children.
Then we added a salt brim around the edge of the glass.
3 oz. Herradura Silver Tequila (or other 100% agave tequila)
1 oz. Grand Marnier
1 oz. Cointreau
2 oz. fresh lime juice
2 tsp. sugar
2 cups crushed ice
Lime wedge
Salt
Instructions: In blender, add liquors, lime juice, sugar and ice, then mix. Wet rims of 2 serving glasses with lime wedge and dip into salt. Pour mix evenly into glasses. Makes 2 servings.
As you master this drink you pick up the glass and gently place you lips upon the rim. The first thing you feel is the salt contacting your lips and the slushy mixer passing over the lips. This truely is a delight to any taste buds. So enjoy my friends and have a great weekend.
